My FIRST SWEATER

CHERRYWOOD PULLOVER

The pullover is worked from the top down in the round. The yoke is worked in a knit/purl texture stitch pattern.

Instructions for knitting the yoke are both written and charted.  The pattern uses the wrap and turn method of short rows for neck shaping, you may substitute any method of short row that you prefer.

Yarn: 1000 (1100, 1250, 1375, 1500, 1650, 1800) yards of Aran weight for Bust sizes 36 (42, 48, 54, 60, 66, 72)”

Needles: Whatever size gives you a gauge of 16 st/4 inches, needles 2 sizes smaller for ribbing an dpns for sleeves

3 stitch markers and tapestry needle for weaving in ends.  Yarns possibilities: Noro Malvinas, Kelbourne Lucky Tweed, Plymouth Homestead, Berroco Mercado, Fibre Co. &Make Aran, Cascade Eco Wool, Mode at Rowan Merino Soft  to name a few
